It is WayMaker Wednesday! Time to challenge your mind, reframe your perspective, and equip yourself for action.
The Question
What if the true beauty of your impact will be measured by what you help others see clearly?
The Thought
Fear will kill you.
Until you see the invitation.
In business and in life, fear often masquerades as a warning.
In reality, it is an invitation.
An invitation to either die a coward or rise with courage and act with intention.
Recently, I faced this personally.
My son, who broke his neck two years ago, fell and was injured again.
For 48 hours we lived in uncertainty, not knowing whether his spine was compromised.
During those hours, life clarified itself.
In the same week, I faced professional fear. Walking away from hundreds of thousands of dollars to stay true to my purpose, with no guarantee of immediate provision.
Fear whispered.
But I remembered. Fear is a mind killer.
The wrong question is "How do I protect myself?"
The right question is "How do I step boldly into the gap?"
Fear is not a wall.
It is a door.
When you choose to see it that way, a crisis transforms into a catalyst.
A crisis forces clarity.
It strips away illusions.
It reveals what matters most.
And it demands that we act.
Do not waste your crisis.
Do not waste your fear.
It is the refining fire inviting you forward.
WayMakers do not run from the fire.
They forge through it, and invite others to rise with them.
Put It Into Action
Your Personal Fear Inventory and Redeployment Plan
- Take 10 minutes today:
- 1. Write down every fear that feels heavy right now.
- 2. Next to each one, classify it:
- Obstacle: Something to overcome.
- Invitation: Something calling you to rise.
- Illusion: Something that evaporates when confronted.
- 3. Choose one fear today to act on courageously.
- 4. Create one invitation today for others to rise with you.
- Fear will not die through reflection.
- It will die through action.
